Project Overview
What started as a blank canvas quickly became one of our most inviting outdoor living spaces to date. This backyard was completely undeveloped, offering the perfect opportunity to create a seamless, functional environment from the ground up. Our clients wanted a space where they could host family and friends, cook outdoors, and enjoy low-maintenance comfort all year long.‍

Pergola: Shade and Structure‍

We began by anchoring the space with a custom-built pergola. More than just a visual focal point, the pergola defines the outdoor living area and provides essential shade during hot Texas afternoons. It creates a natural gathering point that balances openness with intimacy, and it sets the stage for the outdoor kitchen and dining zone beneath it.

Constructed with sturdy, long-lasting materials, the pergola was engineered for both beauty and durability. We carefully positioned it for optimal shade throughout the day, ensuring the space remains comfortable without blocking airflow or light.‍

Outdoor Kitchen: Cook and Connect‍

Under the pergola, we installed a full outdoor kitchen—complete with a built-in grill, storage, countertop space, and utilities. Everything was customized to suit the clients’ cooking and entertaining style.

The layout makes it easy to prep, cook, and serve without ever stepping inside. We used durable, weather-resistant materials that can stand up to heat, moisture, and the demands of daily use, ensuring this kitchen will perform as beautifully as it looks.‍

Artificial Turf: Green Without the Fuss‍

To soften the hardscape and keep the space low-maintenance, we installed high-quality artificial grass throughout the remaining yard. It adds a lush, green contrast to the stone elements and offers a soft, clean surface for kids, pets, or barefoot relaxation.

Unlike natural grass, artificial turf doesn’t need mowing, watering, or fertilizing, making it an eco-friendly and cost-effective long-term solution. It stays green all year and drains quickly after rain—no mud, no mess.‍
